My Ceramic Fountains






Gail E. Jones



Gail Jones is a ceramic artist residing on Sanibel Island, where she teaches at BIG ARTS and maintains her own studio, Full Circle Pottery. She has traveled extensively and studied pottery and sculpture in both Australia and England.

Gail moved to Illinois from Ann Arbor, Michigan, where she was a potter and teacher for 10 years. She was very involved in the clay community as a board member of the Michigan Potters Association, member of the Ann Arbor Potters Guild, and a studio potter.
Gail was an Illinois Artisan, and her work was displayed in galleries throughout the Midwest. In addition to her crystalline glazes, she is recognized for her unique fountain designs and her sculptural raku forms.
Her latest work is her Sacred Voices Series of sculptures reminiscent of ancient lands.  She was juried into CLAY National, a Biennial International Juried Show held in conjunction with N.C.E.C.A. "Showing some of the best new American ceramics".

Gail has won numerous awards for her work and is a Florida Craftsman.  She was selected to be in FLAG (Florida Artist Group), The National League of American Pen Women, and Southwest Florida Craft Guild.
